SCAMMER: NOUN Disowns Frank Timothy Says He Defrauds Students

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has disowned Frank Timothy, a man who has been accused of defrauding students with fake examination results.

Mrs. Doris Nzenwa, Head of the university’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU), has issued a statement on the matter, saying that the university does not engage in the selling of results, nor does it authorize any person to do so on its behalf.

Nzenwa says that Timothy’s claim that he is an official of the university is false, and that he has never been employed by NOUN.

Nzenwa has warned students against engaging in any form of transaction with Timothy, and has advised them to report any suspicious activity to the university’s authorities.

She also encourages students to verify information from official university sources and to exercise caution when dealing with third-party vendors.

Nzenwa’s statement comes after several reports of students being defrauded by individuals posing as NOUN officials.

The university has warned students against providing personal information or making payments to anyone claiming to represent the university.

NOUN therefore advises students to use the official website and email address for all communication, and to be wary of any messages that appear suspicious.

The university is working with law enforcement agencies to investigate these scams and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
