The Nigeria Union of Journalists Enugu State Council congratulates the State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah on his one year in office encouraging him to ensure that the masses continue to enjoy dividends of democracy.

This was contained in a statement e-signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Sam Udekwe and Secretary, Dame Ifeoma Amuta.

“The union identifies the developmental strides of Governor Mbah since he assumed office advising him to prioritize the welfare of the people of the state especially workers, tighten security in the state and ensure provision of infrastructural development.
The NUJ enjoins the governor to keep flying his kite high and ensure that people oriented policies were implemented in the state.
It advises the government to redouble efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the masses and the welfare of Journalists in the state.

The Union wishes Governor Mbah more strength and insightful decisions aimed at making Enugu State the best in the south East and the country in general.”
