In a heartwarming display of solidarity, friendship, and motherhood, prominent women leaders from across Nigeria gathered to celebrate the arrival of Master Samuel Emeka Mamah, the newborn son of Ambassador Onyi Mamah and her husband Mr Emeka Mamah.

The event, held at the Mamah’s family residence in Enugu was a joyous occasion that saw the celebration of sisterhood and community, as well as the strength and resilience of women in all walks of life.

The gathering was a testament to the bonds that exist between women, regardless of their background or station in life.

Amb. Onyi Mamah, a highly accomplished diplomat and president Women Support Women International was surrounded by a diverse group of women, including entrepreneurs, activists, and educators, all united in their celebration of her motherhood and the arrival of her newborn son, Master Emeka Jnr.

From heartfelt conversations to traditional ceremonies, the day was filled with moments of joy and bonding as demonstrated by the members of Women Support Women International ably led by the welfare corporator, Comrade Amaka Agbo.

The Mamah family home was transformed into a place of joy and community, as guests shared stories, laughter, and support for the mother and her new child.

The warmth and support of the community extended far beyond the physical gifts and well-wishes that the Mamah family received. Sister Doris Okoro, a respected woman of faith, led the attendees in prayer, offering blessings and protection to Amb. Onyi Mamah and her newborn son.

With closed eyes and joined hands, Sister Doris offered a powerful prayer for the mother and child, invoking the strength and wisdom of the ancestors and the protection of the divine.

Her words echoed throughout the Mamah family home, filling the air with a sense of peace and hope for the future.

With a genuine smile and glistening eyes, Amb. Onyi Mamah ho is also the founder Heroine Women Foundation thanked the women for their attendance, support, and kind words.

“Today is a day I will cherish for the rest of my life,” she said. “Your presence here, your love and warmth, is a true blessing. Master Samuel is so lucky to have such a wonderful community of strong women to look up to.”

Her words were met with a chorus of cheers and warm embraces, as the guests expressed their joy at being part of such a special occasion.

Desirenews reports that the gathering which was a true celebration of sisterhood, community, and motherhood, was attended by a number of prominent women leaders.

They include, a member representing Awgu North at the Enugu state House of Assembly and Chief Whip of the house, Hon. Jane Eneh, Agudo Nwanyi, who is a respected community leader and advocate and Deputy Chief Whip, Enugu state House of Assembly and member representing Enugu South Rural, Princess Obiajulu Ugwu.

Others are the principal, Citadel International School Enugu, Chief Mrs Chinelo, Mmiri Doloedo, Amb. Vera Onyekwere, a renowned diplomat and Amb. Loveth Oge, a prominent businesswoman and philanthropist.

As the event drew to a close, the guests gathered around Emeka Mamah, the proud father of Master Samuel, and encouraged him to dance for his wife and son.

Initially hesitant, Emeka eventually gave in to the playful demands and performed a traditional dance, much to the delight of the women in attendance.

The room erupted with laughter and cheers as Emeka danced, adding a moment of levity to the already joyous occasion. “Thank you for celebrating the arrival of our son with us” Emeka Said.
