Igbo-Eze North Muslim Women Association to Host Sallah Get-Together on June 18th 2024

The Igbo-Eze North Muslim Women Association, a local organization based in Enugu State, is preparing to host a Sallah get-together on June 18, 2024, at the Islamic Center Umuogbo Ekposhi in Enugu Ezike.

The president of the Association, Mrs Ofordile Fatima Ebere in an interview said the event, which will be open to all members of the Muslim community, aims to celebrate the Eid Kabir holiday with a festive gathering for friends and well-wishers alike.

The Sallah get-together promises to be a joyous occasion for all those who attend.

According to her, the event will include traditional Muslim festivities, such as Quar’anic Recitation, food, music, and dance, as well as opportunities for fellowship and community-building.

“We are excited to host this event and invite all members of the Muslim Ummah to join us in celebrating Eid Kabir,” said Mrs.Ofordile

The Igbo-Eze North Muslim Women Association is known for its dedication to promoting Islamic values and fostering understanding and unity within the Muslim community.

The association organizes a variety of events throughout the year, including prayer sessions, Qur’anic recitals, and charitable initiatives to support local families in need.

The upcoming Sallah get-together is just one of many events that the association hosts to strengthen the bonds within the Muslim community and to promote interfaith dialogue.

“This event is not just about celebrating Eid Kabir,” said Mrs.Ofordile.

“We are doing everything we can to make sure that this event is a memorable one for all those who attend,” said Mrs Ofordile

“We have a lot of exciting activities planned, and we cannot wait to share them with everyone.”

Also speaking, the Secretary of the Muslim Women Association, Momoh Jumai Binta told Desirenews that the association is encouraging all members of the Muslim community to attend the event and to invite their friends and family members to join in the festivities.
