The Director NOUN Enugu study center, Prof Charity Akuadi Okonkwo gave the advice at the commencement of the Accademic certificate collection in Enugu.
NOUN had earlier in a circular said collection of certificate by 2024 graduates would start on Tuesday.
Prof. Okonkwo who cautioned that collection of certificate is not by proxy encouraged the graduates to return to Accademic pursuit for a higher degree.
According to Prof Okonkwo “this certificate is for you to continue in your Accademic pursuit. I encourage you to come back to NOUN for other higher degrees”
She therefore advised students to liase with their faculty desk officers before noon each day so as to conclude clearance for Collection of their certificates.
Meanwhile, the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) announced key changes to the process of collecting certificates for the 2024 graduates.
According to the release, graduates must undergo screening by Faculty Desk Officers between 8am and 12noon each day. Arriving after this time will mean being rescheduled for the following day. Certificates will then be available for collection from 12noon onward.
NOUN management also implored its graduated students to cooperate with the new process to facilitate a swift and efficient certificate collection experience.
The statement emphasized that cooperation from the graduates will be critical in ensuring the new process runs smoothly, and that all graduates will be able to receive their certificates without any unnecessary delays.
The statement issued praised the cooperation and compliance of the graduates, which has enabled the process to run without any significant issues.
NOUN management emphasized the importance of continued cooperation from the graduates to maintain the efficiency of the process, and reiterated its commitment to providing a seamless certificate collection experience for all graduates.
