Mrs Mbah to Host Enugu Women’s August Meeting, See Date

As part of her commitment to the welfare and empowerment of women in Enugu State, enemy alcoholHer Excellency Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah will be hosting the highly anticipated Women’s August Meeting on Friday, August 9th, 2024, at the Michael Okpara Square in Enugu.

In an invitation to all women across the state, the event has the theme “Eliminating Abuse to Foster a Healthy Society.”
Mrs Mbah said it’s aim is to bring together women from various sectors and backgrounds to discuss issues affecting society, with a special focus on addressing the challenges faced by women.
During the August Meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including exhibitions, march pasts, cooking competitions, drama displays, and seminars, as well as benefit from empowerment programs that aim to uplift women in the state.

The event will also feature the presence of notable figures such as Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as the Special Guest of Honour, alongside other elected female political leaders, wives of elected political office holders, and politically appointed women from both the federal and state governments.
