Entrepreneur’s Birthday Pledge To Young People

An Agricultural Entreprenuer, Hon. Nkemakolam Onyeneke has pledged to mentor and support willing youths especially from his area, to embrace and succeed in agriculture in order to become useful to the society.
Onyeneke made the pledge at Okwu Emeke, Owerri North Local Government Area of the state during the celebration of his 50th birthday (Golden Jubilee) with his people, especially the youths.
The Estate Developer urged youths to embrace agriculture in order to be self reliant and contribute in solving the food crisis rocking the nation.
“The present economic hardship in the country calls for concerted effort from all, to engage in various agricultural ventures in mitigating the hardship.
‘i will mentor and support youths especially from my area to succeed in this guise in order to be self reliant and contribute to the overall development of the area.
“Youths who are also interested in other skilled ventures would also be supported to succeed, as the task of making my area and the nation at large secured and prosperous, lies in our hands.”
He noted that his affinity with the youths of the area transcends age inclinations as he has been a great mobiliser of young ones and advocate of peace and orderliness in the area.
“This occasion is auspicious because I am celebrating my birthday in the community after a long while.
” I am 50 and still a youth as they mill round me because I promote their cause while insisting that the right thing should always be done.
Onyeneke noted that he is the leader of the “‘Ihe Unu na-eme” adighi mma (What you people are doing is not good) a Reformatory group in the area that ensures that the leaders lead aright and do what is good.
“This move has brought peace and conviviality in the area and such has also inspired the youths to behave responsibly and do what is good.
“I give God all the glory in my life and pledge to re-dedicate my remaining sojourn on earth to upholding what is just, to his glory and benefit of mankind.”
Hon. Vitalis Ohiri, The Youth Chairman of the community, extolled Onyeneke’s virtues, noting that the youths would always identify with him.
“We are here in our numbers to celebrate our precious elder brother who has played great roles in ensuring that youths become a blessing and elements of pride to the community.
“He played a significant role in my emergence as the youth chairman with his stance on ensuring what is right always.
“The youths identify him as one of their own and we promise the community to always be worthy ambassadors.”
He urged the celebrant not to relent in his inspirational inclinations and strive more in being a unifying factor among the youths and entire people.
