Udenu’s Dynamic Duo: WOSUWO Commends Govt for Giving Anthonia Onyinye Odo Opportunity as Running Mate

Women Support Women for Human Development and Mentorship Initiative (WOSUWO), a global organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment, has expressed its support for Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s choice of Onyinye Odo as running mate to the Chairmanship position of Udenu Local Government Area.

In a statement released by the organization’s president, Amb. Onyinye Mamah, WOSUWO commends Aka Eze Aka for his commitment to diversity and inclusion in governance.

Mamah stated, “We are thrilled to see Aka Eze Aka recognize the value and potential of women in leadership positions. By giving Hon. Onyinye Odo an opportunity to be a running mate, the governor through Aka Eze Aka is not only promoting gender equality, but is also sending a powerful message about the importance of diversity in decision-making and governance.”

This is an important step towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society. She added.Mamah went on to express her confidence in Onyinye Odo’s ability to bring unique perspectives and experiences to the position, stating, “Onyinye Odo is a highly qualified and dedicated public servant.”

“With her vast experience in both the public and private sectors, she will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of vice-chairperson.”

In a continuation, Amb Onyi Mamah added “We believe that she will work alongside Aka Eze Aka to create policies and programs that address the needs of all Udenu residents, particularly those of women and children.

“The organization also urged the residents of Udenu to support the Aka-Odo ticket, stating that “a vote for Aka Eze Aka and Onyinye Odo is a vote for progress, inclusion, and a brighter future for all of Udenu.”

Desirenews correspondent observed that as the campaign season begins to heat up in Udenu, Aka Eze Aka’s decision to select Onyinye Odo as his running mate has received the backing of some women organisations including Women Support Women International, a global organization committed to advancing women’s rights and opportunities.

“With combined experience, commitment, and vision, Aka and Odo are poised to bring about meaningful change in Udenu, and to serve as an example of what can be achieved when men and women work together towards a common goal”. Some residents said.
