In a generous and admirable display of his commitment to education in Abia State, Governor Alex Otti has sponsored 46 promising students with a scholarship of 250,000 naira each through his “Alex Otti 2024 Foundation.

The scholarship, granted on a merit-based selection process, is a step towards improving education standards in the state.Governor Otti, who is known for his focus on education and poverty reduction, made the announcement during an event held to present the scholarship letters to the recipients.

He emphasized the importance of providing a solid educational foundation for young people in the state, stating that it would enable them to contribute positively to the growth and development of the state.

The governor also urged the recipients to make the most of the opportunity by studying hard and becoming model citizens in the society. He further pledged that the scholarship scheme would be extended to more students in the coming years.

The recipients of the scholarship expressed their gratitude to Governor Otti for the opportunity, promising to make good use of it.

One of the recipients, Miss Success Nwamkpa, spoke on behalf of her colleagues, stating that the scholarship would ease the financial burden on their families and give them a chance to succeed.
