My Priority is to Develop Udenu LGA-Aka Eze Aka

An ace broadcaster and chairmanship candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Udenu local government area of Enugu state for the forthcoming local government election in the state, Aka Eze Aka has said that his priority, if elected is to ensure accelerated development and growth of the area.

Aka Eze Aka a former commissioner for Information in Enugu state stated this while unveiling his manifesto titled, “Building a Peaceful and Secured, Prosperous Udenu Local Government Area” in a radio programme at the Radio Nigeria Voice FM in Nsukka.

Accompanied by the Director of his Media Team, Jude Eze and the secretary Udenu Stakeholders’ Forum, Onyekachi Ugwu, Aka said he appreciates the broad based administration of the Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, adding that his development programmes in the state have been progressively on top gear.
According to him, Governor Peter Mbah’s slogan of “Tomorrow is Here” has manifested through human capacity building and rapid infrastructural development, adding “that is the reason my slogan is “In Touch with Tomorrow”.

“If I’m elected as the chairman of Udenu local government area, my administration will focus on the development of the area. The money that comes in is for Udenu and the best share is to ensure that it is channelled to development, which will make the people enjoy the dividends of democracy”, he said.

The PDP candidate assured the people that he is going to use his link with the Governor of the state, Peter Mbah as well as connections with people in and outside Nigeria to achieve the best for them, stressing that his election for on September 21, 2024, will translate to enhanced security, local roads constructions, improvement in agriculture, education, employment, market and sport development, water rehabilitation and promotion of cultural carnivals in the local government.

“We will ensure that we have holistic idea of what our people need and ensure that they are provided, though within the available resource. We will work towards improving different sectors of the economy like Agriculture, Education, market expansion and modernization to achieve enviable and sustainable development in the local government”, he said.

For the indigents, the PDP chairmanship flag bearer promised to assist them through employing, at two of such persons from each electoral ward in the area to enable them earn a living, adding “I am going to be their husband and wife for them to survive”. He also assured those that decamped from Labour Party to PDP during his campaign tour of the local government that his administration will work in tandem with them to build a better and prosperous Udenu, adding, “I need our people to be part of what is happening in Enugu state”.

The Director General of his Campaign Team, Jude Eze and the secretary Udenu Stakeholders Forum, Onyekachi Ugwu, both said the choice of Aka Eze Aka as PDP candidate for the local government election was unanimous, adding that he is tested and trusted, and have the capacity to take the local government to the next level. They called on every eligible voter in the local government to come next Saturday to cast his or vote for the PDP candidate for a better Udenu.

Callers from the various parts of Udenu and its environs during the programme expressed their confidence in the candidature of Aka Eze Aka and urged him to live within his promises when elected.
