In a landmark move, the Enugu State Internal Revenue Services (ESIRS) and the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine & Agriculture (ECCIMA) are teaming up to organize the first Enugu Business Community Interactive Forum on tax matters.
This historic event, slated for today, Thursday, November 21st, 2024, is poised to break new ground in fostering collaboration and cooperation between government and business stakeholders in Enugu State.
The forum, which will convene at Dr Emeka Okwuosa Hall of ECCIMA House on Abakaliki Road in GRA Enugu, is expected to draw a diverse and influential crowd of business owners, policymakers, and tax professionals.
The topic of discussion, “Building Synergy in Achieving Enugu State Development Through Tax Policies & Administration,” reflects the organizers’ commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial environment for business growth and state development.
According to the chairman ESIRS, Mr Emmanuel Nnamani, “This interactive forum represents a milestone in our efforts to strengthen the relationship between government and the business community. By working together, we can identify areas for improvement and develop tax policies and administration strategies that support our shared goals of economic growth and social development.

The invitation is to market leaders, leaders of various business/professional Associations, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of companies and the entire Enugu State business community.
