Rangers International F.C, the reigning NPFL champions, welcomed a delegation of officials from the National Sports Commission (N.S.C) on a courtesy visit to their corporate office in Enugu. The visit, which took place on January 15, 2025, aimed to strengthen ties between the club and the commission.

Led by Seyi Johnson, Chief of Staff to the Director-General of the Commission, Hon. Bukola Olapade, the delegation included top officials such as Assistant Directors Alhaja Hauwa Shaibu and Mr. Idowu Oladipupoo. Also present were Mrs. Aghazu Aku, Senior Assistant on Strategy/Legal and Policy to the D.G, and Mr. Kola Daniel, Special Assistant on Media to the D.G.

Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, CEO of Rangers International F.C, received the delegation and expressed gratitude for their visit. He emphasized the significance of the synergy between the club and the commission, particularly with Enugu state hosting the 2026 National Sports Festival.

The CEO praised the governor of Enugu state, H.E Dr. Peter N. Mbah, for his support of sports development. He assured the delegation that Rangers International F.C would fully support the activities of the National Sports Festival.

Following the reception, the delegation was taken on a guided tour of the club’s facilities and offices. Other top management officials of the club were present to receive the visitors, including Barrister Alex Egbo, Mrs. Igwe Ifeoma, Emeka Ike, Ekeh Ekenedilichukwu, and Chikelue Iloenyosi, Chairman of Anambra F.A.
