Breaking: PDP Seeks Edeoga’s Return

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State is making a move to bring Hon. Chijioke Edeoga back into the fold.

A delegation from the party, led by the Enugu State PDP Chairman, recently visited Edeoga’s residence to appeal to him to return to the party.Edeoga, the former governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Enugu State, has been a key figure in the state’s politics.

The PDP delegation acknowledged his value, describing him as a man of honor who has what it takes to move any political party forward. The Enugu State Governor has also directed the delegation to appeal to Edeoga to return to the PDP. However, Edeoga has stated that he needs to consult widely before making a decision.

Meanwhile, reports have it that the development is part of the PDP’s efforts to reposition itself ahead of future elections. The party has been working to rebuild its structures and reconcile with former members.
