Authorities of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, have expelled a third – year History student of the University for unruly behaviour.

A video clip which went viral Wednesday showed the girl, Goddy – Mbakwe Chiamaka Precious, assaulting the lecturer.

The clip showed the girl, defying attempts by fellow students to restrain her, hitting, pushing and even tried to strip the man of his dress, but the man remained calm.

Shortly after the incident, the University authorities issued a statement ordering an investigation.

The result of the investigation led to the expulsion if the student in a statement signed by Acting Registrar, Victor Modebelu.
