NAWOJ Felicitates With NUJ on Its 70th Anniversary

The National Secretariat of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) warmly congratulates the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.

In a statement signed by the National Chairperson, Comrade Aishatu Ibrahim, NAWOJ commended the NUJ for its remarkable achievements in Nigerian journalism practice.

“We acknowledge the significant growth and progress made by the NUJ over the years, driven by its visionary leadership and commitment to the welfare of its members. The union’s dedication to promoting professional excellence, solidarity, and camaraderie among journalists is truly commendable.”

NAWOJ expressed its deep appreciation to the NUJ National President, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, and his team for their tireless efforts in leading the union towards greater heights.

“We reaffirm our confidence in your leadership and pray for a peaceful and productive tenure. We also pray for God’s protection and guidance for all NUJ members and their families as they discharge their duties.”

The statement concluded by wishing the NUJ continued success and progress in its future endeavors.

“Once again, we congratulate the NUJ on this milestone anniversary and wish the union many more years of impactful achievements.”
