Anambra Beach Soccer team (Anambra Warriors) have arrived in Kebbi State, to kick-start their campaign in the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League.

According to Awam Okwudili Emmanuel,
Coordinator and Media director, Anambra Beach Soccer Association in a press release, the team will undergo a lengthy camping period to prepare for the competition, which commences on March 31st in Birnin Kebbi, Kebi State capital.

He noted that Last season, the Anambra Warriors made an impressive debut, finishing second behind champions Kebbi BSC.

He however maintained that they’re determined to go one step further and claim the top spot.

Awam in the statement disclosed that the team has recruited a couple of new players to bolster their squad and are confident that they have the talent and determination to dethrone the current champions.

With their sights set on the championship and the expected stiff competition from reigning champions Kebbi BSC, as well as other strong contenders like Kada BSC and Kebbi United BSC, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors are ready to put in the hard work and dedication required to succeed.

Awam noted that their lengthy camping period in Kebbi State will provide them with the perfect opportunity to fine-tune their skills and strategies before the competition kicks off.
