Devastating Fire Outbreak in Enugu Leaves Family in Need

A devastating fire outbreak occurred at Number 9 Bunker Lane, Udi Siding, Enugu, on Sunday morning, gutting a one-storey apartment belonging to Mr. Johnson Onyibor.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire, which started at approximately 5:40 am, destroyed property worth millions of naira.
It affected the left flat on the top floor and mildly impacted the opposite flat. The state fire service responded promptly, preventing the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.

Also the men of Nigeria police force led by DPO CPS were on ground to ensure security at the scene.

The owner, Mr. Onyibor, who was not at home during the incident, expressed distress upon arrival, stating that he and his family are now in a pitiable condition. He appealed to the state government and public-spirited individuals for assistance to help his family recover from the loss.

As investigations into the cause of the fire continue, the family remains in need of support to rebuild their lives. Thankfully, no lives were lost in the incident.

Our Correspondent reports that although no life was lost, the cause of the inferno could not be ascertained as at the time of this report.
