Anambra State Police operatives on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, have stepped up night patrols aimed at reinforcing the Police’s commitment to serving and protecting the community.
Orutugu charged the operatives to stay alert and be proactive in preventing crimes and ensuring public safety.
He further charged the them to conduct patrols with diligence, respect, and courtesy and to respect the rights of citizens.

According to Command spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, the initiative aims to boost security and reassure residents of Police commitment to their safety.
