In recognition of her exemplary leadership and dedication, Mrs. Ifeoma Sylvia Udeh, Principal of Community Comprehensive Secondary School (CCSS) Obinagu Udi LGA, Enugu state, has been honored with the prestigious Life Membership Award by the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) Enugu diocese.
This distinguished award is a testament to her unwavering commitment to virtuous leadership and service to humanity especially as the President CWO St. Michael Catholic parish Amachalla Ngwo

According to Mrs. Udeh’s fellow awardees and colleagues, her leadership style is inspiring, and her dedication to serving others is truly remarkable. When asked about her approach to leadership, Mrs. Udeh emphasized the importance of hard work and determination, “The same effort you put into changing your style to look updated, put that in your relationship with others”.
The award reflects her commitment to empowering individuals, especially women, to take control of their lives and make informed decisions when and where necessary.
The award ceremony, held recently was a grand affair that brought together prominent women and dignitaries from the Enugu Catholic Diocese. Over 400 women were inducted into the CWO Life Membership and decorated with the Ambassador of Mary Award. Mrs. Udeh was among the esteemed recipients who received the Life Membership Award, a recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Catholic faith and community.
Other notable recipients of the award included: Hon. Dame Rita Mba, Chairman, Enugu Board of Tourism & BoT Member PDP, Hon. Jane Eneh, Deputy Leader, Enugu State House of Assembly, Dr. Mrs. Nnenna Uzor, Accountant in the office of the Accountant-General of Federation, Barr. Cecilia Ezeilo, former Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Prof. Bene Okoli, Immediate Past Enugu Diocesan CWO President.
The Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Ernest Obodo, presented the award to Mrs. Udeh, highlighting her virtues and dedication to service. In his remarks, he emphasized that the award was not based on material possessions but on the recipient’s demonstrated virtue.
Mrs. Udeh’s achievement is a testament to her tireless efforts in promoting education, faith, and community service. Her dedication to virtuous leadership has earned her a reputation as a respected and admired leader in her community. As President of CWO St. Michael Catholic parish Amachalla Ngwo and Principal of CCSS Obinagu, Mrs. Udeh has consistently demonstrated her commitment to serving others and promoting the values of the Catholic faith.
