Prof. Bene Okoli Among New Commissioner-Nominees, Head of Service Appointed by Enugu Governor

His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Governor of Enugu State, has approved the appointment of six esteemed individuals as Commissioner-nominees, subject to confirmation by the Enugu State House of Assembly. The appointees are:

  • Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli
  • Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh
  • Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna
  • Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo
  • Prof. George Ugwu
  • Ben Collins Ndu Jr.

Furthermore, the Governor has approved the appointment of Dr. Godwin Anigbo, mni, as the Enugu State Head of Service, with immediate effect.

These appointments represent a significant milestone in the governance of Enugu State, and the nominees are expected to leverage their expertise and experience to drive progress in their respective roles.

The public service announcement was signed on July 17, 2025. by Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the Enugu State Government.
