Dr Ngozi Obioha-Nkemdirim Celebrates Compassion, Humanity on World Humanitarian Day

‎Today, August 19th, we commemorate World Humanitarian Day, a day dedicated to honoring the selfless efforts of humanitarian workers around the world, says Dr, Ngozi Obioha-Nkemdirim.

‎She stated this in an event to mark this year’s World Humanitarian Day with the theme, “Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities”.

‎The theme highlighted the importance of unity and collective action in addressing humanitarian crises in the world.

‎She noted that its imperative to take a moment to appreciate the bravery and dedication of humanitarian workers who risk their lives to provide aid and support to those in need. “Their work is a testament to the power of compassion and humanity.

‎”As we celebrate World Humanitarian Day, let’s also recognize the importance of global solidarity and local empowerment in responding to humanitarian challenges. By working together, we can create a more just and equitable world where everyone has access to the support and resources they need”.

‎According to Dr Obioha-Nkemdirim “Join me in paying tribute to all humanitarian workers who made a difference in the lives of millions of people around the world. Let’s continue to support and empower them in their mission to alleviate suffering and promote human dignity.”

‎Addressing the audience, Dr. Ngozi Obioha-Nkemdirim emphasized the importance of local empowerment in responding to humanitarian challenges, which aligns with the theme of World Humanitarian Day. “commitment to global solidarity is reflected in her recognition of the bravery and dedication of humanitarian workers worldwide.”

‎The Philantropist acknowledged the crucial role they play in alleviating suffering and promoting human dignity.

‎Our correspondent reports that Dr. Obioha’s Humanitarian Efforts is geared towards empowering Local Communities in the South East Zone.
